“VPK Agro” has been in the top ten of the most powerful vegetable farms in Ukraine for last several years.
VPK Agro is a young and perspective company – a leader in the Ukrainian vegetable market. It was founded in 2006 and specializes in cultivation and long-term storage of vegetable crops. The company independently and fully implements the entire cycle of the production process from sowing seeds, growing seedlings and planting them in the open ground, ending with harvesting, storage and selling to the consumer through the wholesale trading network.
Testing of new varieties and hybrids of different types of cabbages from all foreign seed companies working in Ukraine is being done on the basis of the company. As well different experiments on the subject of storage of product qualities of grown vegetable novelties are held in our modern and powerful vegetable storage.
The company uses over 1000 ha of land for its own production. 90 percent of the cultural land is equipped with automated rain settings of Renke frontal system and Netafim drip irrigation system.
The company uses European-level vegetable storage facilities with German and Italian refrigeration equipment for long-term product retention. It allows to save collected vegetables.
10,000 tons of bulk storage are equipped with Tolsma ventilation. 24,000 tons of refrigerated container storage. Nowadays refrigerated storage for 15,000 tons is being built, that gives opportunity to sell products all year round.
